This section is responsible for isolation and identification of bacteria and fungus, which receives samples from various sources such as farmers, local level governments, referral samples from private clinics, Veterinary Hospital and Expert Service Centers and directly from the field during the outbreaks. Various samples like milk, urine, tissues, water, nasal swabs, ear swabs and skin scrapping are received in this unit for isolation, identification and antibiotic sensitivity testing of the organism.
